Total Tools joins the Coniston Evolution

The evolution of Coniston’s business precinct has taken yet another step forward with the recent opening of ‘Total Tools’ at 30 Miller Street. Strategically located just minutes from Wollongong CBD and directly adjacent to one of the region’s major road links, the store is set to capitalise on the gap left by the recent closure of Bunnings Wollongong.

“Specialist trade suppliers have experienced strong market conditions in recent times as evidenced by the rapid expansion of parties like Total Tools, Sydney Tools, and Tool Kit Depot across Australia. Competition between these parties can be fierce, so when good opportunities are identified, like Coniston, they act quickly and decisively, and that is exactly what occurred here” explains Michael Croghan, Director of Commercial Leasing at MMJ.

This is the second store in the region for Total Tools, the first being at Albion Park Rail some 10 years ago, which we understand has been a solid performer for the group resulting in Sydney Tools opening in competition close by, more recently.

Croghan says “30 Miller Street is nearing the completion of a long awaited significant makeover. It is now the landmark for a precinct that has seen significant positive change. Leasing interest has been excellent with the complex now 80% leased and more exciting new tenants soon to be announced”.
