The REINSW has recognised outstanding industry achievement, crowning the winners of its 2022 REINSW Awards for Excellence including two wins for the MMJ Real Estate Group.
This year we celebrated 25 years of the REINSW Awards for Excellence and the fact that it continues to be the most prestigious and respected industry awards event in New South Wales, recognising the best of the best within the real estate industry.
REINSW President Peter Matthews says this year the Awards for Excellence celebrates those who’ve really gone that extra mile despite such trying times.
“Yet again we were impressed by the number of entrants into the Awards for Excellence despite a year of unprecedented challenges,” says Mr Matthews.
“What a year it has been! Agents were having to rise up to the challenge of more COVID lockdowns, the devasting floods as well as the very strong market throughout 2021 and into 2022 before economic measures saw the beginning of a slowdown in the market.
“REINSW was proud to be able to honour our finalists and winners by coming together to celebrate at the first in-person Gala Dinner event since 2019! We were excited that 650 members and distinguished guests joined in a hugely fun and entertaining evening. 58 employees from MMJ Real Estate attended the event held at The Star in Sydney last Thursday to support their industry colleagues.
MMJ Real Estate were the most recognised agency at the awards this year with six nominations.

Our team took out wins in the Commercial Agency (Large) and Property Marketer categories, an amazing achievement for the team.
National Marketing Manager Katie Rollinson says winning the Commercial Agency in the Large Agency category is a big achievement for the Illawarra region with the award usually going to a metro based agency.
"It highlights the enormous talent we have in the region and in particular at MMJ, the largest commercial agency in the Illawarra." Says Katie.
"Personally, winning this award is an absolute career highlight for me thus far. I've been working in Commercial property for 25 years and nowhere have I ever worked with a team so highly skilled, diligent and honorable, each and every member." "The strength of our commercial agency is the breadth of our experience and that we truly work like a family unit". says Head of Commercial Management Tracy Preston.
MMJ's Marketing expertise has always been setting the standard for real estate in the region and across the country. Once again the team has been recognised at the state awards with Karlia Byrne taking out the win for Property Marketer for the outstanding campaign recently completed for a project development which resulted in a sell out in just 6 weeks.
