MMJ Real Estate has today announced the further growth of its national commercial network with the current McGees Sydney office merging with MMJ Sydney’s business.
The addition of the McGees Sydney operations further complements MMJ’s national commercial platform, which currently comprises six offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Canberra and Wollongong.
MMJ Real Estate Chief Executive, Chris Johnson, said he was pleased to announce that McGees Sydney (McGees) had merged with MMJ Sydney.
Effectively immediately Ian Dimond, who has extensive industry experience and had managed McGees in Sydney for over 20 years, will join MMJ Sydney’s current directors Cameron Algie and Chris Johnson, in driving the continued development of MMJ throughout New South Wales.
“Ian’s team and their existing client base are an ideal fit for the ongoing growth and reach of the MMJ brand, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the addition of their business to the MMJ network, said Chris.

Ian and his team are responsible for providing reliable, dependable advice and solutions to a cross section of clients, including many instantly recognisable Australian and international corporations, as well as government bodies private investors and the legal fraternity. The advice and solutions address the clients’ ownership and occupation of commercial real estate and ranges from valuations (often complex and unusual in nature); market analysis; tenant/buyer representation and a comprehensive asset and lease management service.
Other senior operatives who will join MMJ Sydney as part of the merger include Tony St Leon and Callum Macgregor.

Callum has a wealth of property management experience across all forms of commercial, industrial and retail property on behalf various institutional and private owners. In addition to conventional day to day management activities, Callum is also responsible for the provision of consultancy and management advice to a corporate client in relation to a large diverse portfolio of properties, which the client occupies as the tenant. The portfolio is located in five different states and territories across Australia.
The MMJ Real Estate’s commercial office network continues to be supported by best in class residential offices located in Wollongong, Illawarra North, Illawarra South and Dapto.
