NSW Bush Fires - How you can help.

Just before the Christmas break MMJ Real Estate offices across the Illawarra collected much needed  clothing, food and toiletries and delivered them to a number of local fire stations to support our local heroes that have been battling the fire on the front-line.

"We were so humbled and overwhelmed by the support from our community, in a matter of hours we had donations piling up in our boardroom to help those in need."

The outpour of donations across the country has been truly amazing and we hope it will continue and help ease the recovery for those affected by the horror of the recent bush fires.

The NSW RFS now advises that they can no longer accept physical donations as their holding centres have reached capacity.

RFS Donations Capacity

There are a number of ways you can help those affected by the bush fires and the volunteers.

The best way is to donate money. This allows people to buy the things they need, and it supports local businesses which have also been impacted.

Supporting Volunteers

Many people are choosing to show support to our volunteers. While brigades are provided equipment to protect the community, donations assist them deliver additional services to the community.

Thank you to everyone who has offered to help. We appreciate your generosity and kindness.

Other Support

There's a wide range of community groups which are providing support to fire affected areas, including Blazeaid and the Port Macquarie Koala Hospital.
