MMJ Real Estate has a strong growth appetite to expand its national network and provide clients with the very best local, national and project marketing solutions.  Paul Heard, founder of Heard and Tallpopie companies, with extensive track records in project marketing, has become a shareholder in a new entity known as MMJ National Projects, that has been added to the MMJ network.

MMJ has been tracking Tallpopie’s growth and success over the past 18-months in a challenging COVID-19 marketplace, the opportunity emerged to integrate with the MMJ’s national platform. A platform that currently operates offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Canberra, Wollongong, Corrimal, Dapto, Windang, and Bateau Bay situated on NSW’s Central Coast.

MMJ Real Estate Chief Executive, Chris Johnson, said he “was delighted to announce the joining of forces with Tallpopie, its in-house marketing team - Heard and MMJ Real Estate, providing the Group and its clients with further specialist capabilities in project marketing across the country. It is a capability that we have been seeking for some time but proved hard to find. When the opportunity arose to link with Paul and his team, we jumped at it as we could see a natural fit and one that complemented and didn’t compete with our existing real estate businesses across the country.”

"MMJ National Projects will be a unique residential project marketer housing both internal sales and marketing expertise under the one roof. Specialising in both off the plan and residential developments across the country. The unique fusion of sales and marketing working hand in hand enables an agility to the sales process, a clear key competitive advantage, enabling campaigns to be optimised so sales are achieved in real time."

MMJ will continue its network expansion and reach, enabling project marketing solutions to be delivered to all parts of Australia. A true national ability that is unique to the market and breaks the norm of state based project marketers operating under a single brand with no integration. No longer will clients be forced to work with with multiple agents across state lines with no unification or team work to achieve their goals.

Paul Heard said “after successfully establishing our presence in the Sydney market over the past 2 years, the joining of forces between Tallpopie and MMJ aligns with our strategy and timing to further expand our services nationally.  We sought to align with a partner that could assist in ‘turbo charging’ the already successful growth of its business. MMJ provide a national platform with a reach that is a perfect fit for us and our clients”.

Paul went onto say, “With a number of our developer clients interstate, this strategic alliance brings forward our engagement with these clients, and will significantly expand our reach to attract and service new clients, we look forward to working with the MMJ team to explore the opportunities created by this initiative.”

Paul Heard further commented that he and the team were looking forward to being able to utilise Tallpopie’s proven residential project marketing capabilities and strategies with MMJ National Projects, including its own in-house marketing team.

Tallpopie’s current and recent appointments include some of the finest residential projects encompassing land sales, house/packages, Townhouses and apartment projects.  Across metropolitan New South Wales, the developments extend from Rouse Hill in the north-west to the Sydney CBD and Southern Suburbs. Tallpopie is also active in other states, including a current 94 apartment building in the Brisbane inner city suburb of Toowong.

In addition to expanding its existing project marketing capabilities, MMJ National Projects will also add residential property management to its service delivery model.  Chris Johnson went onto to say, our aim is to provide a one-stop service for investors who acquire residential apartments or houses in projects we market.  From the moment an investor commits to acquire a property, they will be treated with the highest level of professionalism and service, including being added to our Smart Investor database, that will give them access to exclusive offerings in the future and social events/activities.

As part of the integration, MMJ’s Sydney business led by Directors Robert Anderson and Tom Donnelly, will relocate to Tallpopie’s Sydney premises at 36 Carrington Street before the end of the year.

The new brand – MMJ National Projects will come into effect immediately.

“Tallpopie’s team and their existing client base are an ideal fit for the ongoing growth and reach of the MMJ brand, and I looking forward to the advantages it will bring to the MMJ network”, said Robert Anderson.

“We look forward to working with the MMJ National Projects Team, in conjunction with our existing stakeholders to offer expanded cutting-edge services”, said Tom Donnelly.
