The Role
Due to the growth within our team in the Melbourne office we are seeking a Marketing Assistant with a focus on content creation and digital advertising to join our team on a part-time basis. Hybrid working arrangement with at least one day in East Melbourne office + additional 1-2 days remote.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in graphic design tools like Canva, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, as well as have experience with Office 365. Familiarity with Silverstripe, video editing, and animation would be highly advantageous. This role will involve creating compelling content for our local Melbourne offices, including property campaigns and various marketing initiatives.
Key responsibilities
Social Media Management:

- Create engaging content for various social media platforms.
- Schedule and manage posts to ensure consistent and effective communication.
- Monitor social media channels for engagement and respond to inquiries as needed.
Digital Advertising:

- Develop content and ad campaigns for digital marketing channels such as Google, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and third-party sites.
- Optimise campaigns for maximum reach, engagement, and ROI.
- Analyse campaign performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
Website Management:

- Create and update landing pages using Silverstripe, incorporating forms and ensuring proper analytics and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with the web development team to implement changes and enhancements.
- Generate regular reports on website metrics and user behavior.
CRM Management:

- Manage customer relationship management (CRM) systems, tracking enquiries, and ensuring accurate data entry.
- Facilitate correspondence via email and SMS, maintaining professional and timely communication.
- Prepare detailed reports on CRM activities and outcomes.
Property Campaigns:

- Develop content for property campaigns, including social media posts, digital brochures, signage, and digital advertising media.
- Collaborate with the national marketing team and individual agents to ensure campaign success.
- Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed.
Content Creation:

- Generate creative content for events, national campaigns, and other marketing initiatives as required.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and resonates with target audiences.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices for content creation and digital marketing.
About You
- Proven experience in content creation, digital advertising, and social media management.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Familiarity with Office 365 applications.
- Experience with Silverstripe or similar CMS platforms is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive marketing decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to efficiently and effectively work remotely, including strong time management skills and proactive communication with team members.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive and collaborative approach to work.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
